What is Protechting - Piloting track elevator Pitch?
Protechting – Piloting track is a program where the startups have already a product able to test within major Corporates.
Each selected startup will have the opportunity to integrate its own solution in a real business environment, where great knowledge, expertise and experience are shared and learned between top management and startups’ teams. After the Pilot Program, each winner will have the opportunity to assign a commercial agreement with 4 big corporates of finance, health and insurance.
In which stage should startups be in order to apply?
Protechting – Piloting Track is taking applications from startups with a product working prototype or MVP, with customers.
Who needs to be present? And when?
Mandatory presence is needed from at least one member of each selected startup in the Bootcamp and the Demo Day.
Are there any expenses covered by the program?
An allowance will be provided for the presence at the Bootcamp – value to be defined.
Do you take equity of the participating companies?
Protechting does not take equity.
Will you be investing in startups?
This is not a program focused on investment. If investments occur, they will be made by the partners and after the program.
Where will the program take place?
Protechting will take place in Lisbon, Portugal.
If my startup is selected, what are the next steps?
After the applications are closed, there will an evaluation and selection phase, followed by an online pitch for the selected startups and the Bootcamp.
What are the selection criteria?
The selection will be made by the Beta-i team and experts of all Partners of Protechting. The team of evaluators will be focusing on your product, your team, market, business model, fit with each Partner and focus on sustainability. They will even be counting on their gut feeling and experience from previous programs.
What does my company have to gain specifically from this program?
By joining with the piloting program startups will have the opportunity to work together with big corporates towards a long term deal agreement.
Can I apply with more than one project/companies?
Yes, definitely. You can apply with as many projects you believe would fit and benefit with the program.
Can I end up developing several collaboration projects with different partners?
Yes, it is a real possibility since everything can happen during as the program develops.
